Ontario Place NW
There was some considerable history with this project. The house was built nearly 120 years ago and the client wanted to maintain the old look of the house. We chose to incorporate deep colors and stain the trim work and other carpentry elements in order to bring out the grooves of the wood. The client liked to bake and host visitors, so a large farmhouse sink and island were incorporated as well as plenty of seating and cabinet storage space. Beautiful French wooden doors lead out to a patio and deck, which served as an extension of the kitchen.
